"If the Huerta Gym is truly outdated and unusable as a physical exercise facility, I would like to see it renovated into a Cultural Center and small theater or meeting, gathering complex to promote learning and arts and entertainment focused on cultural diversity and inclusion."

"Huerta already seems to function as a community center. How about remodeling, expanding, rebuilding it (whatever is needed) as a community center with meeting spaces that can be shared by the Town, Library, WUSD, community groups, etc? The County report on the Windsor Library noted that it was perfectly located, but too small. If some Library spaces such as the community room and lobby book sale were relocated to an expanded community center, there might be enough space in the current Library for a Teen Room and other things mentioned in the report."

"I also recommend an article “To Build Or Not To Build” in the Winter 2021 issue of the Sierra Club magazine. Two quotes caught my eye. Carl Elefante, a former president of the American Institute of Architects, said “We’re recycling Coke cans; we’re recycling beer bottles. Why are we tearing viable buildings down in the name of progress? The greenest building is one that is already built.”
